Girls Will Be Girls!
or dancing through the living room with your big dolly.
And here, I'd like to take note of all the hair on these favorite dolls. They have all been done by the wonderful girl, in this case, my dear Savannah. Though I am quite proud that she has learned to braid hair. Though now all her horses have braided tails & braided manes. Here is a picture of the beautiful braids on her doll. And of course with all of this the girl will want matching braids & matching clothes, etc.
But now we move on to the obvious things about girls...
They like to shop! And not just shop, but, yes, of course, shoe shop! Oh the joys of shoe shopping. I too as you may be noticing have the love of shoe shopping, in which there is no experience quite like it in all the world. But yes, as I was saying...once you get a new pair of shoes on your feet, then you must really have some new toenail polish & maybe a cute flower sticker on your toe!
For Savannah's birthday gift from her Nan, she got to go clothes & shoe shopping. TWhat more could a girl of 5 years old (soon to be six) want?
Then as would be expected, there has to be a sort of fashion show back at home to show off the new items. So here it goes...
We have the leggings outfit with the white sandals.
Next comes your "girl-next-door" outfit with capris and new pink flip-flops.
But now in style is the "school-girl" look with the (of course) pink crocs.
And to wrap it up for all those bored men out there (like her dad) reading this blog, there's the "twirly" dress. Where of course you must twirl everytime you wear it to show how well it twirls. And don't forget to note the lovely new brown sandals that go with this dress.
This mind you is not but half of the fashion show, but time constrains me.
Wishing you all a good night for now.
