Gwen is 7 months old. And she has been learning things in leaps and bounds! She can crawl anywhere. She pulls herself up on chairs, people, couches....and then can walk along them. Now if we could just get her a tooth or two! Oh and speaking of which, she loves to eat, baby food AND real food. She loves to feed herself. She downed a banana muffin the other day in no time! I remember when the things on the coffee table were safe until they were like 10 months old! Sheesh. Well, at least she keeps me from slacking on picking up the house and vacuuming!
It's totally weird & unexpected, but the 4 day vacation up to Show Low was one of our best vacations ever! Even Tim said that was true for him. It was nothing spectacular, just good, clean fun! Relaxing, yet not boring. Fun, yet not busy. And the kids all behaved & got along...maybe that's what made it awesome! Plus the fact that we hadn't done too much as a family for a year due to Tim's hospitalizations, sicknesses & lack of vacation time left. We went to a very fancy restaurant. Savannah had been learning in school about etiquette in a place like this, so she was able to practice it & keep the boys in line. This place also had a live band out back, so afterwards we went out there & sat around the fire and danced a little. We all played frisbee golf. I've decided to do a little "review" of the POGO pass. On the website it says that the "pogo pass is a membership that provides you 12 months of FREE access to the best entertainment venues in Phoenix". Maybe you've heard of it, but wasn't sure what it was exactly. Or if it was worth it. Or you're wondering if it would make a good Christmas gift. Well hopefully this will help you figure all that out. We decided to purchase the POGO pass in February of this year and try to only do those things for our family entertainment throughout the year. Keep in mind we are a family of 7, so it's costly to do pretty much anything!
